What is CBD?
CBD contains a broad spectrum of compounds that are beneficial to the body, including an array of cannabinoids and terpenes. CBD does not have any intoxicating effects, and has been shown to help with the body’s natural ability to regulate and heal itself.
How does CBD affect the body?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located in the mammalian brain and throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems, consisting of neuromodulatory lipids and their receptors. Known as “the body’s own cannabinoid system”, the ECS is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory, and in mediating the psychoactive effects of cannabis. The ECS is also involved in voluntary exercise and may be related to the evolution of the runner’s high in human beings and related aspects of motivation or reward for locomotor activity in other animals.

What can CBD do for me?
Everyone is different, so results vary from person to person. Research shows that CBD benefits include acting as an anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anticonvulsant, antioxidant, antiemetic, anxiolytic and antipsychotic agent, and is therefore a potential medicine for the treatment of neuro-inflammation, epilepsy, oxidative injury, vomiting and nausea, anxiety and schizophrenia. CBD is being used in many ways including: treating cancer, epilepsy, anxiety and depression, pain and inflammation, arthritis, Parkinson’s, PTSD, and much more. A quick google search will bring up a host of articles and journals that make claims about how CBD can help heal the human body.
Will it show up in drug tests?
All of our online research says no. But being the skeptics, we are, we conducted our own experiment. We made a double strength (600 mg CBD) batch of therapeutic ointment and got an incredible massage, then went and got tested for THC. The test came up negative.
